Writing

I write longer form content to clarify my thinking. I don’t write to create neatly packaged answers. I aim to start a discussion on topics that I’m actively exploring and learning about.

I employ one-level higher thinking when digging in. Topics I’m currently exploring include:

  • The role that finance plays in innovation and shaping the future

  • How incentives control our public and private systems

  • How we value goods, services, and each other

Investing

I’m an investor at a endowment in DC. I primarily look at VC, growth equity, and buyouts, as well as anything healthcare or energy related across asset classes. We have an exceptional team and are committed to supporting our institution.

I have invested privately as an angel in start-ups redefining our societal OS (primarily agriculture, health, finance, deep tech) and as an LP in VC funds (primarily emerging managers, but also funds tackling the above categories).

Whether companies, GPs, or LPs, I believe the organizational structures that produce ideas and investments are as important as the investments themselves.
